On 28th and 29th March 2025, the new public trade fair 'Art of Beauty & Health' celebrated its debut in Düsseldorf - and passed with flying colours. Over 3,000 visitors poured into the Alte Schmiedehallen at the Areal Böhler over the two days to get up close and personal with the crème de la crème of the beauty and health industry.

What makes this show so special? It combines the best of both worlds: a high-calibre B2C platform for beauty enthusiasts with an in-depth professional conference focusing on innovations, trends and future issues.

Top brands, specialist conference and a touch of royal glamour

The exhibitors included top brands such as Rituals, Dr Emi and many more - brands that are otherwise rarely seen at classic B2B formats such as BEAUTY or TOP HAIR. The ‘Art of Beauty & Health’ thus closes an important gap: It brings end customers into direct contact with innovative companies and at the same time offers space for professional dialogue at the highest level.

The event was organised by two industry heavyweights: Tina Müller, former CEO of Douglas, and Alexandra Iwan, PR and communications expert. Their aim was to create a platform where trends, science, health and beauty come together - for professionals and consumers alike.

A very special moment was the appearance of Princess Madeleine of Sweden, who presented her first own beauty brand on stage. A royal highlight with a signalling effect for the entire industry.

IQONIC in the thick of it

IQONIC was also there live. Our Managing Director Martin Pentenrieder draws a positive conclusion:

'The Art of Beauty & Health impressively demonstrates the importance of the combination of innovation, technology and health awareness in the beauty sector. This is exactly where IQONIC with its AI-based skin analysis comes in - as the missing piece of the puzzle for true longevity in the beauty world.'

The launch of this new trade fair format idea was a complete success - and we are curious to see how the Art of Beauty & Health will develop next year. In any case, Düsseldorf has gained a new beauty address with potential for the future.
