Every year, leaders from around the world come together at the Davos meeting to address key global and regional challenges - whether tackling geopolitical shocks, promoting growth to improve living standards or managing a just and inclusive energy transition. The theme of this year's meeting was ‘Working together for the smart age’ with five key topics:

  • Restoring trust

  • Rethinking growth

  • Investing in people

  • Protecting the planet

  • Industry in the smart age

Represented by major companies such as Cloudflare, Intel Corporation, Palantir Technologies and BlackRock, AI was omnipresent this year. But there were also opportunities to delve into other important topics, such as financing a sustainable future with the Global Blockchain Business Council (GBBC), exploring frameworks for resilience, growth and global collaboration. Attending not only the opening of the first Hub Culture Pavilion, but also the TIME Magazine Dinner, where visionary leaders from around the world discussed future strategies, was "a real highlight of the first day," according to Martin Pentenrieder, who attended live for IQONIC.

Day 2 began with the Family Office Investor Summit, exploring the future of investing with star investors such as Bill Tai, Carolina Casas Forga, Philippe Van Caenegem and many others. Moderated by Mike Butcher of TechCrunch, the day was filled with exciting discussions. These included one on measuring future economic growth with participants including Nobel Laureates Michael Spence and Ricardo Hausmann, as well as members of the Royal Family of Saudi Arabia. The day concluded with an exclusive one-on-one discussion between Rasmus Rothe and Ray Dalio at the AI House Davos, where they discussed the transformative power of AI in reshaping global strategies.

Day 3 was packed with insightful sessions and great moments. The day began with in-depth discussions on building a sustainable future in healthcare through automation and AI, with brilliant minds such as Mina Hamoodi from Mubadala Capital, Becky Anderson, Lesley J. Shaw, Juan Vista Ferres and Thomas Clozel sharing their insights. Their perspectives on using technology to transform healthcare were eye-opening. In addition to culinary highlights such as the Swedish Lunch, another standout moment was when some of the biggest names in venture investing shared their perspectives on the future of innovation and investment at the AI House Davos. But the real highlight, according to Martin Pentenrieder, was "the legendary Forbes Party, organised by Randall Lane in partnership with Global Citizen. It is a true Davos tradition and always an experience. Many thanks to all involved for an unforgettable evening!"

The days in Davos were a rich experience of groundbreaking discussions, inspiring leaders and memorable events. The World Economic Forum continues to provide unparalleled opportunities to engage with visionaries and thought leaders. Every conversation brings us one step closer to building a better future!
