TOP HAIR, the annual highlight for the hairdressing sector, took place in Düsseldorf from 29 to 30 March. With around 27,000 trade visitors from 28 countries, the fair once again confirmed its importance as an international meeting place for hairdressers, salon owners and industry partners. The number of visitors remained at the same level as last year - a sign of the format's continued relevance.

IQONIC & Salonhelden: Two powerful tools for everyday salon life
We were at the fair together with our partner Salonhelden. While Salonhelden presented the smart POS system with integrated appointment booking tool E-Cut, we focused on hair scanning.
Despite a more compact stand than last year, we were able to make many interesting contacts thanks to the good positioning and the curiosity of the visitors. The tools of both partners worked smoothly and Salonhelden was very satisfied with the way things went. It was particularly pleasing that after the workshops on the stages, many visitors came specifically to our stand to try out the Hair Scan for themselves. The combination of technical input and practical experience proved to be a real plus - also because interactive applications such as colour change tests directly in the scan are becoming more and more popular. This shows that the desire for individual, visual try-outs is growing.
Workshops, dialogue and new ideas
Our Managing Directors Martin Pentenrieder and Maria-Liisa Bruckert took to the stage to share their expertise on the future of hairdressing - with a clear focus on digital solutions, smart advice and new customer experiences. Their presentations were met with great interest and led to a lively exchange with trade visitors and leading brands such as Goldwell and Wella. It was also clear that the openness to digital applications is increasing noticeably - and IQONIC was often perceived as a pioneer in the field of AI.
For us,
TOP HAIR 2025 was not just a trade fair, but a valuable platform for dialogue, innovation and inspiration. Our takeaway for future events: The individual experience at the stand is becoming more and more important - thanks to strong eye-catchers and hands-on technology that makes the customer benefit directly visible.
